Hello! ... Having lived outside my country India and outside my native state kerala ..most of my life time ...coming back to me native land realised just how much i have missed out on many wonderful places here ....having a full time job on my hands right now ...cant make many trips so most of the ones taken are on weekends or holidays but ..... i guess i rather make the most of it !!!....
These are shots of Cochin one of my fav places in Kerala .. this contains many shots from the different times i have been to Cochin.The 1st thing that comes to my mind is the port harbor and SHIPS !
A tourist cruiser .... i think..must be as Cochin attracts a lot tourists, and its is a perfect place to dock and see the main land and off course FORT KOCHI,

I was up early to catch the morning boat to fort kochi.
There these tourist boats that take you around the coast and
some do back water cruise also ..
Not all boats head out to the waters ...some FEED....floating restaurants ( ABOVE)
Near the Main land , Tourists boats rearing up to take passengers .
Cargo loaders ,Cranes and stock : you can see many of these along the coast on your way to fort kochi ,mattanchery from the main land .

NOW one of the luxury hotels ...back then it belonged to the most illustrious Cochin Jewish family, the Koders. ..

The church, originally a Catholic Church was taken over by the Dutch after they captured Cochin ( Kochi ) in 1663 and converted into a Protestant Dutch Reformed Church
The British converted it into an Anglican Church after they took power in 1795, and in 1949 the congregation joined the Church of South India.
The original wooden building of 1510 was soon replaced by the
present building around 1546
His original tomb ..i presume (right)
It is the first church to have been built in the new European influenced style and tradition.
